Having already provided its 3DS Ambassadors with 10 free NES titles back in September, Nintendo has now completed its Ambassadors program for the 3DS by releasing its previously promised 10 Game Boy Advance games for free download.
As with the NES titles before, you'll need to have registered with the Ambassadors program prior to August 12th in order to receive the games. Users will be able to find the titles neatly queued up in the 'Download History' section under 'Settings' from within the 3DS eShop - all you need to do is effectively 're-download' the games to install them.
While the NES games were a timed-exclusive for 3DS Ambassadors, these Game Boy Advance titles are outright exclusives and will not be made available to other 3DS owners at a later date:
Nintendo initiated the 3DS Ambassadors program earlier in the year after it controversially took the decision to cut the handheld's price a mere four months after its release in the UK. The program is designed as a way of compensating early 3DS adopters.
Thanks, Joystiq
